Tomorrow, Saturday March 12, Jodie Marie Rigby, an entrepreneur from Preston, is hosting an International Women’s Month event in the city, sharing success stories from women in the North.
The event takes place at the new Saladishy healthy food restaurant on Fishergate.
The event will include welcome drinks by Calyx drinks and My Dry Ice, as well as a two-course dinner.

Joining the dinner will be Jemmala, a 26-year-old artist and designer from Preston, who has worked for Steven Bartlett at Social Chain and Maison Margiela. She also left one of the UK’s biggest fast fashion companies to embark on her own musical journey.
Jemmala is now releasing her own EP and performing her new song Freakin at the event.
She will speak and share her journey with the women entrepreneurs who join the event.
Jodie is hosting a series of events in March in Manchester and Liverpool to support female entrepreneurs and those interested in NFT and the cryptocurrency space.
She is in talks with several former apprentice candidates who want to support the March events.
Jodie has previously hosted events with friends Zaralena Jackson from MTV’s Ex on the Beach and Elias Ahonen Blockland author and Cointelegraph contributor.
She said: “International Women’s Day is a day to shine a light on women and their successes and inspire others to keep chasing their dreams.”
