Meet the creators of MDC’s new publication, “Strange but True”



JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites the public to experience the MDC’s latest publication, “Strange but True” at the Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City on October 15.

This free event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and hosts a variety of different activities for attendees to enjoy. Mark Raithel and Matt Seek, the author and illustrator of this new guide, will be present at this event to answer questions about their work. Participants will also have the opportunity to try their hand at illustration, and some of these “strange” creatures will be present.

“Strange but True” is a compilation of some of nature’s weirdest facts. Not only does this post provide interesting facts, but it’s also packed with engaging illustrations to entertain all ages.
