Delhi’s Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) will host PitchCafe 3.0 on Saturday, September 3, an annual activity aimed at fostering entrepreneurship among young innovators. The event organized at the institute aims to bring young entrepreneurs closer to realizing their entrepreneurial dreams. It acts as a platform to showcase promising ideas and early-stage startups.
During the event, over 200 teams will compete for a prize pool of over Rs 5,00,000. Ideas and proposals will be reviewed over three rounds – Idea Abstraction Screening, Elevator Pitch, and a final Pitch Round. Out of 200, no less than 64 teams will qualify for the second round and make an elevating pitch. Following this, 16 teams will pitch their ideas to investors on September 3. Final round judges include serial investors and high-profile entrepreneurs, all highly respected figures in their respective fields.

Sandeep Jain, CEO and co-founder of Geeks for Geeks, is one of the distinguished speakers among other speakers and investor judges like Dhruv Rana – the incubation manager of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS), Anshul Rustggi and Arindham Basu. , Basic Roots investors and Neeraj Gulati – the head of Delhi government’s entrepreneurship council.
“We had the pleasure of having mentors from the Delhi government to judge the round 1 entries. For round 2, we had mentors from a venture capital firm-100xVC, who helped us get the top 16 teams for the final pitch,” the institute said.
“PitchCafe offers investors an exciting opportunity to invest in early-stage startups with immense potential for future growth. For startups, it helps bridge the gap between dreams and real-time realization. conferences, seminars led by successful entrepreneurs and renowned experts will help young entrepreneurs move from the proof of concept of ideas to the development of prototypes.PitchCafe 3.0 is unfolding as a promising event with a day full of freshly prepared ideas , presentations and competitions, discussions and fun activities at leisure,” added IIIT Delhi.
