It’s already seen with a sweet twist – apple pie! Please join WordsWest Literary Series for a special event to celebrate the launch of co-curator Katy E. Ellis’ feature debut, Home Water, Home Land (Tolsun Books). This meeting will include readings from co-curator Susan Rich, who recently published her book Gallery of Postcards and Maps: New and Selected Poems (Salmon Poetry 2022), and co-curator Harold Taw, who may or may not sing karaoke . Books will be on sale and a pie will be served.

Katy E.Ellis‘Home Water, Home Land is a first complete prose poetry novel to be published by Tolsun Books in September 2022. Her work has appeared in numerous publications in the United States, including Pithead Chapel, American Journal of Poetry and in journals Canadian PRISM International. , cereals and fern heads. http://www.katyeellis.com/

rich susan is the author of five books of poetry, including the recently released Gallery of Postcards and Maps: New and Selected Poems, Salmon Poetry. Harold Taw is a multifaceted writer. His first novel was Adventures of the Karaoke King. His writing has been featured on NPR, in a bestselling New York Times anthology, and in the Seattle Times. He co-wrote a musical adaptation of Jane Austen’s latest novel, Persuasion, which premiered at the Taproot Theater in Seattle, and is currently co-writing a steampunk musical that crosses parallel universes. https://www.haroldtaw.com/
